Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. He lived a perfect sinless life in the flesh and was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He rose again three days later. This sacrifice allowed for us to have eternal life as long as we believe in Him. We believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are fully God in the unity of a single divine being. We believe the bible is the Word of God and contains no errors.

“A true warrior needs no sword... I must rely on a sword because I am weak” is a quote that has stuck with me since I heard it. As Christians, we may find ourselves trying to protect things that hold no value in the eyes of God. We need to remember we are not called to pick up a sword (Matthew 26:52), but to live similarly to Jesus (Matthew 5:48). Our battles on a daily basis may involve the flesh, but our true battle is spiritual. (Ephesians 6:11) Jesus is the good shepherd who will not let anything happen to His sheep (John 10:1-19).  We need to focus on becoming a warrior of God and strengthening our faith in Him, not a warrior of some attribute of our flesh (Matthew 16:24). It will not be easy (1 Peter 5:9-10), but doing so will make us stronger and closer to God (James 1:3, Romans 5:3-5) . We allow God to do what He does (Romans 12:19) and continue to have faith that God is in control. (Psalm 37:5, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 12:19)
